1990年生,籍贯湖北荆门。入选2020年上海市海外高层次人才计划,获国家海外优秀自费职工奖、美国Sigma Xi授予的Zaffarano Prize等重要奖项。主持国家自然科学基金面上及青年、上海市基础研究特区、上海市海外高层次人才等项目。以第一/通讯作者在Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Energy Letters, Materials Horizons, Nano EnergySCI期刊发表论文20篇,其中3篇入选ESI高被引论文,申请/授权专利8项。


担任SCI期刊《Nano Research,Nano-Micro Letters》,Chinese Chemical Letters》以及国际期刊eScience》与Exploration》的(青年)编委。


Biography:

Dr. Bowei Zhang was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Teri Odom's group at Northwestern University before joining the East China University of Science & Technology (ECUST) in Shanghai in Nov. 2020 as a Principal Investigator (PI). He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in 2013 and 2016, separately, from Metallurgy Engineering at Wuhan University of Science & Technology under the supervision of President Prof. Hongwei Ni, and then received Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering of Iowa State University advised by Prof. Shan Hu in 2019. He visited Yale University in 2018 and worked together with Prof. Hailiang Wang as a visiting Ph.D. student. 


Prof. Zhang works at the intersection of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Chemistry and Physics with interests focused on Sensing and Energy Devices to promoting the development of Internet of Things (IoTs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He has been awarded a series of prestigious honors such as the CSC self-funded scholarship and Zaffarano Prize offered by Iowa State and Sigma Xi Association, etc.
